A Day At Camp

A typical summer youth camp day includes morning and afternoon Bible lessons, sports competition and special activities of the camper’s choosing. The campers have free time each day for swimming, boating, making candy/pop/shirt purchases and being involved in large group games. Our experienced cooks prepare three tasty, satisfying meals each day. Each day concludes with a campfire consisting of singing, stories, humor, and personal testimonies.

While each camp may have it’s own special events and activities, a typical day’s schedule looks like this:

9:00 AM Cabin Clean-Up
10:00 AM Singing, Quiz, & Bible Lesson
11:15 AM Sports Competition

1:15 PM Memory Work/Rest Time in Cabins
2:15 PM Afternoon Bible Class
3:00 PM Activity Groups
4:00 PM Swimming/Free Time
5:00 PM Counselor Prayer Time in Lodge
5:30 PM Supper
6:00 PM Canteen
6:30 PM After-Supper Game
8:15 PM Campfire
9:25 PM Campfire Ends/Winding Down Time
