To sign up for a camp, you must submit an application after February 2nd and prior to the camp date. Some camps fill up during February while other camps may still have a few spots available as it starts. You can use our online form to submit your camper's information. REGISTRATION
Please register at the camp office between the hours of 3:00 and 5:30 p.m. on the Sunday when your particular camp session opens. Your camp program will begin with supper at 5:30 and campfire that evening at 8:30.
PHYSICALS
A health statement is available by clicking here which should be completed in full and signed by your parent/guardian. Be sure to bring this form to camp with you (do not mail it in advance). A physical exam by your doctor prior to camp participation is no longer mandated by the state. However, if you are presently under a doctor's care, you may wish to have one for your own satisfaction. If your child needs the attention of a physician while at Story Book, we require your insurance be responsible for the medical costs. If you have no insurance, the camp insurance will go into effect for your child.
CABIN ASSIGNMENTS
Your cabin assignment will be given to you upon registration. Cabin placements are planned ahead of time according to age and counselor. Please do not ask for changes on registration day. If you asked to be with a friend, we have made every effort to accommodate your request.
CANCELLATION
If you cannot come, please cancel, even if it is last minute. We often have a waiting list so please do not substitute another person in your place. Please call the camp director Bill Howell at (218) 865-4379 or

HOMEBOUND
Each camp ends on a Saturday morning after breakfast, around 10:00 a.m. Be aware of the length of camp that you are attending (whether it be one or two weeks). Because our camps run consecutively throughout the summer, please be considerate of our staff and their need for a short respite between camps. We ask that all campers cooperate with this and plan to leave shortly after breakfast on Saturday. If this is not possible, please write and explain your situation to us ahead of time.
